RIDING THE J TRAIN

Welcome to Riding the J Train, a supplemental local history education resource based on exploring the histories of neighborhoods surrounding the MTA J Train line in New York City. The program is geared towards supplementing the eighth-grade New York State Social Studies curriculum. Although the J line is not the focus of the project, the subway line is meant to serve as a conduit for students to explore their local histories and create a piece of public history by writing a Clio entry.
